Sacks and Powers were involved in the resettlement of Soviet Jews in Harrisburg. Powers is former international director of Jews for Judaism and current American director of MAGEN, both counter-missionary organizations, and mashgiach for the Star-K at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
